Democrats should fund healthcare in lame duck session of Congress

Democrats should fund healthcare for as long as possible in the lame duck session while they have a majority.

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to put $100 billion into a package with the tax cuts that would overcome a fiilibuster in the Senate.

Democrats should offer a full extension of the Bush tax cuts for 2 years, along with money for infrastructure jobs, and the money for the Federal government to implement healthcare reform.

They must be willing to let all of the Bush tax cuts sunset. Since the public (rightfully) believes we stand for higher taxes, we really don't lose anything. But eventually, Republicans will cave and fund healthcare. If I'm wrong, we will have improved our deficit immensely.
