Michael Steele - phony

Unless I'm not intelligent enough to figure out another possibility. Michael Steele is a political phony. When he ran for the U.S. Senate in 2006, Steele did all he could to mask his Republican ties. He was a moderate; in fact there was a scandal as to him covering up his Republican-ness. There were signs in traditional Democratic blue, with the entire Democratic ticket, except it was Steele with them and not Cardin.

And now he is the Republican leader in the country?

Either he is a RHINO now or he was trying to fool Maryland.

This would be akin to a DLC, so called conservative Democrat running and winning our party chairmanship. Their constiuents would have to wonder who's getting fooled.

Maybe a Ben Nelson of Nebraska.

We'll see which is the real Michael Steele.
