Resume to become President:

1968 organized a two-day student strike and worked with Wellesley's black students for moderate changes, such as recruiting more black students and faculty. In that same year she was elected president of the Wellesley College Government Association.

1969 became first student to deliver commencement address at Wellesley College

1973 received a Yale law degree

1974 worked as a staff lawyer on the impeachment of Richard Nixon

1977 co-founder of the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Family, a state-level alliance with the Children's Defense Fund

1978 appointed to board of directors for Legal Services Corporation by President Carter

1979 first woman full partner Rose Law Firm

1982 chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee from until 1992

1986 chairwoman of Children's Defense Fund until 1992

1993 chairwoman of Taskforce of National health Reform

1993-2000 represented U.S. in visits to over 80 countries as First lady
1993-2000 key domestic and foreign policy advisor to President Clinton

1995 gave historic speech at the UN Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing

2000 elected U.S. Senator from New York

2003 - present member of Armed Services Committee

2006 re-elected U.S. Senator

2008 won most votes in Democratic Primary for President--helped eventual winner Barack Obama win the Presidency

2009 confirmed as Secretary of State in the Obama administration
