I love how people come up with these "reasons" of how they switched political parties.
Do you think Mr. Davis would say this today: quoting FDR "I would rather have the occassional errors of a government acting in the warm spirit of goodness and charity than the omission of a government frozen in the ice of indifference...We don't offer a perfect way but we offer a way that errs on the side of lifting people up"
Nobody changes heartfelt ideology/approach to politics so drastically in one election cycle that you would switch to a tea party dominated Republican Party
