Republicans fail to support traditional marriage

Mitt Romney hires a loud and proud gay as an advisor

This from the conservative party presumptive nominee?
He is telling the world that social conservatives don't matter.
He is saying that this man's lifestyle is fine with him.

Well, it's not fine with me.  As a Democrat, I would never willingly hire a person like this, even for an unrelated position.  But as the story details, his sexual choices and advocacy did matter in his position.  But foremost,  the symbolism here is unmistakeable.

I would agree to hire him if he agreed to not share his sexual choices with the public.

As hard as it is to believe, it's going to take our party to reverse the attack on marriage:

Democrats against gay marriage
