2012 election maximum vote total

As of today, according to my analysis of the democracycorps poll:

President Obama best possible vote total is  54%

I got that number by adding:

100% of 47% who already support him
100% of   3% who say fair chance might support him
50% of    6% who say small chance
35%  of   5% who say small chance


btw.  Obama is virtually tied with  Romney 47-46 in the sample
