Budget deal

The Republicans should get:

1. raise retirement age for social security and medicare.
2. adujust cost of living increase (cola) so it's more accurate and grows slowly
3. support for constitutional amendment to balance budget if there's economic growth
4. permanent Bush tax cuts
5. raise the debt limit
6. discretionary spending cap


The President and the Democrats should get:

1. Fully fund education in the 50 states at 2008 levels (stimulus) through 2012
2. Full implementation of Affordable healthcare act
3. raise the debt limit
4. defense cuts
