Why is there this talk about Pelosi leading house dems as if this is permanent no matter what. And it has to be bad, because 2010 independent and Republican voters say so?
The House caucus can re-elect Nancy Pelosi and see if it works.
If it doesn't, she can resign when the President kicks off his re-elect campaign.
If she leaves six months before 2012, then she won't be an issue, and we look as if we "got the message".
BTW I think there isn't a "message" except: we'd like a better economy, and Democrats to fight more for us. The first is the Democratic Independents and the latter is the base.
Do moderates really think if we replace our leaders RIGHT NOW it will matter 2 years from now? It's scary to ponder if these people are serious.
