All during 2010, the political buzz has been about the good chance Republicans have to take over the Congress. While I'm still dubious that this would be THAT bad, since President Obama would still be in charge, I have to wonder whether CQPolitics ratings are accurate or not:
House: 228 Dems 178 Republicans 29 toss up
Senate: 51 Dems 42 Republicans 7 toss up
In an off-year election, I'd expect Republicans to win many of the toss ups but still, Democrats look to be in good shape?
Is this a case of the media trying to create a story?
