Anti-Obama democrat?

Republicans have been using a talking point that the Democrat Critz elected in the Pa12 district ran against many key Obama priorities and so really the "Anti-Obama" agenda won.

Sarah Palin actually said that if Democrats have a chance to vote for a pro-life, pro-gun, anti-Obamacare Democrat (over a Republican) they will do it.

First of all, then they should mean she's ceding the rematch to Critz in November, right?

But second of all, voters aren't that dumb are they?

A democrat is a democrat.
A republican is a republican.

You figure that out 1 time, every 2 years when the House and Senate elect leaders.
If a member votes for Pelosi in the House or Reid in the Senate they are a Democrat and support that agenda.
If they vote for McConnell in the Senate and Boehnoir in the House they are a Republican and support that agenda.

This is what determines who leads, who sets the schedule, etc.

So while the individual issues and votes matter along the way, they pale in comparison to the initial vote.

Some try to get cute and vote for others in their party they know won't be the leader, or they abstain. But the fact is, we have a good 2 party system where you are either on one side or the other.

So Republicans can spin all they want.
Democrats won Pa12.
