Deem and Pass

...is just fine with me. The House of Representatives can pass a Rule that says:

-the current vote will consent to the Senate Healthcare bill and send it to the President.
-the current vote will pass legislative fixes and send them to the Senate.

So the member would be voting for two things all at once. If they disagree with either, they can vote no. The right wing media and those who just want to be anti-healthcare reform will find fault with this.

I say do the right thing and then take it to the voters.

It would be nice that whenever we as a party decide to do something complicated, we should plan it out and explain it, rather than waiting hours, days, and sometimes weeks after it is misreported and commented on by opponents.
