Liberals and Conservatives should respect David Brooks

because you pretty much don't know where he's going to wind up on any given issue.

I know that's an overstatement in that he's not going to ever support a "far right" or "far left" solution, but take health care, Afghanistan, taxes, etc. and I think he's an honest broker.
