Best way to slash the deficit

1. Announce a policy to fight the terrorists wherever they are. Finish that job in Afganistan and then withdraw troops.
2. Cut spending in the military, education, health care, foreign aid, etc. and direct the departments to do more with less.
3. Legalize gambling and non-violent drug use; tax and regulate them.
4. Declare victory in Iraq and speed up the security transition to the new nation.
