The X games both winter and summer are an incredible display of the American spirit. Right now there are the winter version with traditional outdoor activities like skiing taken to a whole new level. It is hard to believe that it is possible to do such athletic, creative, and dangerous stunts and stay safe most of the time.
The first step is to define the goal, and then focus on it fearlessly. If they took the time to think about it, I'm sure they wouldn't go through with some of these tricks. But watching it, I just marvel at the rebirth of the American spirit.
Sports, especially these X games are a way to practice our talents, and whether it is these people or just fans watching, our nation is inspired to greatness.
That is a good thing.
