Tim Geithner should be confirmed

I earlier wrote that Time Geithner should withdraw from consideration as Treasury Secretary because of various reasons.

I have now watched his opening statement to the Senate Finance Committee.

It is clear he is a genius.

It is clear Geithner is the best.

His testimony has demonstrated to me that the tax problems and other issues are small in relation to the talent he possesses.

I honestly think that the country needs someone like him.

I don't know of anyone else who is like him.

I'm sure they exist. But why discard a sure thing for an unknown.

President Obama picked a winner with Geithner.
