Every child need Malia and Sasha's choice

The Washington Post has a great editorial about School Choice. I only would disagree that the focus for choice should be only poor children. There are millions of struggling middle class families who are either stuck in their public school or are sacrificing above and beyond the call of duty to send their children to a school they deem is better for them.

Democrats have to separate the issues of public school and education. We can still advocate a strong public school system, while allow maximum choice for every parent/child.

If we make our public schools truly excellent, more people will want to choose them, rather than being forced to by economic realities.
