McCain takes the lead in some polls

According to realclearpolitics

2 different Gallup polls give Mccain leads of 3 and 10,

while the Rasmussen tracking poll showing a dead heat.

All of these polls had Obama leading just a few days ago.

McCain is apparently receiving a bounce from the convention. It was pretty much all about how people are responding to the Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Conservatives have skillfully turned the bad habits of liberals (playing victim) against the media and democrats. Palin is skillfully using the free press to advance the cause of McCain without dealing with issues and simply presenting her story.

I decry this type of politics no matter where it comes from . This is the Republicans playing the "gender" card. Getting sympathy based on perceived slights.

Democrats should ignore Palin and focus on the future of a McCain-Palin administration.

Also, they should learn not to play racial/gender politics in the future.

We can win this election if we are more optimistic, more solution oriented, and simply present better ideas than the Republicans.

Obama is totally capable of this.
