Financial "rescue" plan should include help for homeowners

Everyone who has a steady income should be allowed to stay in their homes and avoid foreclosures. This can be accomplished in many ways:

-allow bankruptcy judges to rewrite mortgages that are affordable
-have the federal government back 100% of loans to people heading into foreclosure and then force banks to offer a loan based on current income.
-have the government offer individual "bailouts" to homeowners through their mortgage companies that brings them current, and then place the delinquent amount into a lien.

Either way, we as a nation should provide help against this foreclosure crisis, and then set up rules so that this is not possible in the future.
