Media should censor stories about plots against Obama

It is irresponsible to report stories about plots against Barack Obama. Recently there is big coverage of a supposed danger to the Democratic nominee. It doesn't serve the public to know about such nonsense. There is more of a chance of someone who is either evil or unstable to get motivated to act rather than any good.

I trust the Secret Service is doing a good job, and surely they don't need this kind of publicity.

So I'm asking the media to be responsible and think about what public interest is served by reporting stories like these.

Freedom of the Press is essential to promote a vibrant democracy, and the free exchange of ideas, not to find out details that can really only lead to more trouble.
