The free market works better than government planning

A rising Starbucks lifts many boats!
As this article explains, most people (democrats especially) would assume Starbucks opening up to six new coffee shops a day, and targeting the base of local businesses would hurt those small businesses profusely. But the wonders of free market economics under the right circumstances can improve everyone's life. Democrats should learn our policies should always increase the power of a healthy free-market. Our job is to extinguish poorly functioning markets, waste, fraud, and abuse. A big government program should establish the framework for free enterprise, not substitute the judgements of a centrally planned committee.
