Make marriage more serious

Susan Pease Gadoua has good ideas of how to make marriage more serious, and difficult to enter into. I'm not sure if she's being serious, but I would be. The only problem is that she speaks of "people" in the marriage rather than one man and one woman. Part of making marriage stronger, we need to make it more exclusive and more respected in law. That includes more contemplation beforehand, more financial consequences to dissolution, and a resistance to the redefintion of marriage to include anything other than one man and one woman for life.
