Homophobia?What about Homo-don't like?

A phobia is an irrational fear. Anyone who maintains a traditional values posture is labeled a homophobe. I question that. There are plenty people who can make a rational decision to not accept homosexual behavior/lifestyle as normal. As natural. As good. As whatever.
It is irrational to call anyone who doesn't approve of a deviancy as phobic.

Since there is this constant comparison to blacks, people who hate blacks aren't called phobic.
People who choose to associate with their own kind, but are respectful of all people aren't called phobic.

They might be called racist. They might be called other names. But there are options others than irrational emotions.

I think people of good conscious should begin to take back the language.
We need to promote good relations with all Americans.
That doesn't mean we should accept everything and everyone regardless, but it does mean we should promote an honest dialogue.
