Shameless promotion: baseball

As the 2009 Major League Baseball playoffs are beginning. TBS which is televising many of the games is promoting the Anaheim Angels' determination to win.

They are doing this by referencing the tragic death of pitcher Nick Adenhart.

The network should not mention his death in connection to a game or any motivation the team might have to "win this for Nick".

They may do what they please in a respectful manner especially if the family agrees, but please let it stop there.

You can't have, "tune in to TBS to see if the Angels can win the World Series for Nick".

Not that they said that, but they might as well have.

Some things should be done and not talked about.

The Angels are fine, now let's show respect for the young man and his family.
