Being Rich is a mindstate

Most of us live with the idea that we want to be rich and free from the daily constraints of bills and lack of money. Yet, it is clear to a keen observer that most of us can't handle life without the boundaries of money. I suspect that is the root cause of many Celebrity problems. They no longer have to worry about paying bills or dealing with the frustration of not being able to do something they feel they deserve. They then have to police themselves in terms of public decorum, internal morality, and just competing demands based on practicality. This has led to people using drugs, and doing other things that are very destructive.

I suggest people who want to be rich, prepare for it now. Live now with the happiness you expect then. Work hard now determining what you will and won't continue. Treat other people now the way you would once you are rich. In other words define yourself in terms of who you are and what you believe in.

As people, we need to accept ourselves and be happy. Not happy when..., or I'll be happy once..., but happy today. This is not a plea to accept a bad situation as determinative or a refusal to set and reach goals. It's a balancing act that rejects the notion of seeking contentment outside of yourself.

On top of all of this, once you've readied yourself to reach your goals, you might find that the people in your family aren't capable of the same thing. There will have to be a choice or some kind of reconcilation.

If it was easy everyone could and would do it.
