1. Governor Blago should resign immediately or be removed or impeached
2. Lt. governor should appoint a caretaker who promises not to run in 2 years.
I would think Oprah Winfrey would be a popular choice. It would force her to take responsibility for her words.
3. Democrats should choose a consensus candidate and avoid a nasty primary
4. Democrats should enact sweeping reform nationwide that made any hint of "pay to play" illegal at all levels of government. This would involve banning various "coincidences" from occurring in the first place, as well as all of the blatant unethical dealmaking.
