More people should favor building a fence because we as a people through our government have to be able to define who and what we are as a country. We should determine how many immigrants we wish to invite and from where. The Mexican government refuses to help us control our borders, so we have to take more aggressive actions. As Democrats who generally favor more open-immigrant policies, we should want it done legally and in an orderly way. Among others, it is people are waiting legally to enter this country who are harmed because others are taking their spots.
