McCain camp attacks Obama over troop non-visit

False charges destroy John McCain creditability

John McCain promised a different kind of campaign that was serious and focused on the future. He claimed that there wouldn't be personal attacks and other non-sense that had characterized both the 2008 Primaries and general election contests in the past. McCain sort of defended John Kerry in 2004 and gave every indication that he wanted to win the Presidency on the merits of being a better candidate and potential POTUS. Yet, time and time again, the McCain campaign is taking cheap shots at Obama that while seeming desperate to informed viewers, might actually work with people barely tuned in. If McCain benefits from this type of campaign he will damage his reputation and this style will inhibit his ability to work with congressional democrats. Since Democrats appear to be a safe bet to hold the Congress and actually expand their power, John McCain is putting his personal election prospects over the country's needs because if he wins this way, he will be another Bush. That means conflict and discord for 4 more years.

Another reason to vote for Obama.
