The latest results from the LA Times poll show Hillary Clinton is positioning herself for a Democratic Primary victory.
Iowa - likely voters
Hillary 31
Edwards 25
Obama 22
In the New Hampshire poll the topline results show a close race with Obama leading by 2 on the strength of independents, BUT look at these questions:
who do you think has best chance at beating republicans:
all dem voters dem ind
Hillary 36 42 28
Obama 33 32 36
-
Right experience?
all dem voters dem ind
Hillary 47 54 39
Obama 18 19 17
-
fight terrorism/national security?
Hillary 37 44 27
Obama 23 21 24
-
economy?
Hillary 40 49 30
Obama 25 24 27
-
healthcare?
Hillary 47 54 36
Obama 16 13 23
Needless to say in New Hampshire the voters are clear about who is the most qualified. Yet, Hillary is in a close race based on honesty, changing Washington, and "saying what she believes". If you notice all of these are creatures of the biased media. Once Hillary wins Iowa, then she can concentrate on building the public perception of her personal qualities.
